The San Francisco Foundation is now recruiting for the 2010-2012 Multicultural Fellowship Program. As an important member of our community, you are critical in our process to identify strong candidates.

Our Multicultural Fellowship Program is a two-year full-time program that aims to increase diversity in the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors. Successful candidates are young professionals of color with the promise and passion to create significant social change. The Fellowship provides challenging work and professional development experiences, on-the-job training, and opportunities to enhance skills in grantmaking, convening, project management, and a variety of other areas. Fellows are an integral component of the Foundation’s grantmaking Program staff. Additionally, Fellows benefit from networking, mentoring, trainings, seminars, professional conferences, and interactions with a wide array of nonprofit, community, and philanthropic leaders.

This year, the Fellowship Program is seeking one Fellow in each of the following three program areas: Arts and Culture, Education, and Environment. Applications are due on Monday, March 22, 2010, and the Fellowship positions will commence July 1, 2010.

The Future Generation Art Prize is a world-wide art prize of 100,000 USD.

The prize is established to discover and provide long-term support for a generation of emerging artists, wherever they may live and work, this unique artist-focused prize aims to make a major contribution toward the production of new work by young artists.

The biennial Prize is distinguished by:

• its global dimension;
• its focus on a young generation of artists;
• its open and democratic Internet application process;
• the long-term commitment of leading artists of our time;
• a distinguished Board, Jury and Selection Committee;
• an exhibition of shortlisted artists at the PinchukArtCentre in Kiev, one of the largest and most active new contemporary art institutions in Europe;
• and an award of 100,000 USD, to be conferred by a respected international jury.

The jury will select one main Prize winner, who will receive a total of 100,000 USD (60,000 USD as a cash award, and 40,000 USD toward the production of new work). An additional 20,000 USD will be allotted to fund artist-in-residency programs for up to five other special prize winners. Images of works by all the shortlisted artists will be posted on the PAC website, and members of the public will be invited to vote via the Internet for People's Choice Prize.

The ArtLink A. E. England Gallery is seeking 'solo show' proposals from emerging as well as established artists in a wide variety of visual media. Artists in any region and any country are welcome to submit.

The Artlink A. E. England Gallery is located in an historic building within the Civic Space Park. The gallery is under the care of curators, M. Jenea Sanchez and Cory Weeks. The mission is to feature established and emerging artists who push the boundaries of art as expression, test the limits of media, and broaden the perspective and consciousness of audiences. ArtLink A. E. England Gallery is open to all disciplines of art, to include experimental, digital, traditional, and integrations thereof.

The ArtLink A. E. England Gallery is located at 424 N. Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004, Civic Space Park, in the A. E. England Building.

Submissions are by email with the following requirements:

•       Submit up to a maximum of 10 different pieces and no more than 2 to 3 photos of each piece in .jpg format. Maximum dimension of 1200 pixels in either direction

•       A description of the images. Send as an attachment in either adobe .pdf or word .doc file format (artwork title, dimensions, medium and year of creation)
